It is the mission of Artondale Elementary School to provide an environment involving parents, staff and students where all children will reach their highest potential academically, socially and emotionally.

• >>>>>Kindergarten Registration<<<<<
  Kindergarten is now standard at all Peninsula Elementary Schools for every kindergartener, at no charge, through the rest of the school year. Eligible Kindergarteners are boys or girls living in the district who are 5 years old by August 31, 2008. To register you child, please bring you child's birth certificate, immunization records and proof of your address (i.e, power bill, rental agreement).

• KINDERGARTEN PARENT ORIENTATION FOR 2008-09 KINDERGARTENERS ON JUNE 11, 2008. This meeting is for parents and students.  Starting at 3:00 pm you and your new Kinder can take a short ride on a school bus. Transportation will not allow siblings to ride the bus so please make arrangements for them.  Following the ride, there is an opportunity to meet staff in the gym.  Then students and parents will be able to visit Kindergarten classrooms.

• Students Dropped Off in the Morning-- Remember, students who are driven to school should be dropped off at the covered gated area near the gym between 8:50 and 8:59 am.  The tardy bell rings at 9:00 am and students should be ready to begin their day in class by that time. Students dropped off earlier need to be supervised by a parent since supervision is not provided before 8:50.

• Are You Going To Volunteer In Your Child's Classroom Or Chaperone A Field Trip? You need to fill out a volunteer form at the office if you haven't already done so.  After turning in the completed form you will be cleared for 2 years to volunteer or be a chaperone.
